Seeking advice from the community on this unusual problem I'm facing. I'm assembling a budget gaming rig using parts I already own and some I've managed to collect. I received two Dell Optiplex 9010s equipped with an i7 3770. I upgraded one of them by adding 16GB RAM and a 600W PSU, along with a GTX 770 4GB. The issue is that the 770 prevents me from installing the Wi-Fi card in the PCIe X1 slot, forcing it into the PCIe X16 bottom slot at double speed. This causes a black screen. I suspect the slot is meant for display only. When I swapped the card to the X4 slot and the Wi-Fi into the X1 slot, everything functioned properly, but now I need PCIE X16 speed. I’m not sure if there’s something in the BIOS I should adjust. I also learned that a PCIE X1 card works fine in the top PCIe X16 slot, which would mean the GPU needs to be in the bottom X4 slot at a slower speed with fans touching the case. Any suggestions?
