I made the changes to my BIOS to version 7E51v1A69, chose EXPO2, and turned on MCR manually. The system worked well for about a week. Reboots were slower than expected—around 60 to 70 seconds from startup, with a brief black screen momentarily before it appeared again. After that, reboots took slightly longer each time. Recently, there was a sudden freeze on the motherboard display. I powered off the PC, restarted it, and it froze once more. I cleared the CMOS and switched back to EXPO1, keeping MCR on Auto (the default setting).

I’m still unsure whether this is due to firmware problems with the X870, bad DRAM, a defective ICM, or something else. NZXT said an RMA probably wouldn’t help and gave me a refund for the build fee (lol). Since I’m only using an AM5 platform, I can’t test any hardware changes myself.
