I experience issues where my PC freezes or shows a black screen after playing games lasting between 5 to 15 minutes on my PC. I can still hear the audio, but everything seems unresponsive and I can’t see anything. The only fix is restarting the computer. I don’t believe overheating is the cause since my temperatures usually stay around 80°C, which isn’t excessively high. I used an outlet power adapter that felt unstable, so I thought it might be cutting power intermittently. However, connecting directly to the wall outlet resolves the problem. This issue started sporadically a few months ago and has become more frequent lately. My motherboard was replaced about 1.5 years ago and is functioning properly, so that’s unlikely. I’m seeking advice or suggestions from others, as it would be very helpful.

I’ve run stress tests on my GPU, CPU, RAM, and power supply without triggering a black screen. I also used DDU to reinstall drivers (even in safe mode), which sometimes resolves the issue temporarily for a few hours before it reappears after playing games. Others suggest it might be a GPU or PSU problem. Any guidance would be appreciated.

System details:
- CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
- Cooler: Scythe Big Shuriken 600W Semi
- Motherboard: TUF Gaming B550 Plus
- RAM: 16GB DDR4
- SSD: 1TB ADATA SU760

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
If you think it's a PSU problem, source(borrow, not buy) a reliably built PSU that can deliver 550W of power to the entire system, from a friend or neighbor. If you think it's a GPU, drop the GPU into a known working system and see if the issue persists.
