I've encountered a problem where my PC shuts down unexpectedly, showing a complete black screen. I've tried various fixes but nothing works. It seems to be related to the power supply unit, though I'm unsure which one to choose among so many options. Any suggestions would be appreciated. My system specs include an i9-10850K, ASUS Strix 3080TI, 32GB DDR4 RAM, Corsair 1000W PSU.

With a 3080 Ti I'd receive a Tier A rating. There are many solid Tier B options too, but this processor has some power spikes that can affect performance. Just choose the wattage that suits your needs—700W should work well with a quality power supply.

When the PC just "turns off" under load, that is 100% the PSU. If a breaker or fuse gets tripped, then that's the wiring to your place. Usually you only see this if the there is a problem with the PSU or a problem with the cables. Like if it's a modular PSU, check every cable is seated.
