Issue with PC freezing on the motherboard logo display during startup following recent hardware modifications?
Hello
The computer won’t start, it’s stuck on the motherboard logo. No spinning, no window logos.
I changed the motherboard, CPU, RAM, and added an M.2 SSD.
Removed all other drives and installed a fresh Windows version on the M.2 drive. I reached Windows.
Then I connected an Ethernet cable to check for connectivity, but didn’t make any changes. At that point I shut down completely.
Now, whether I boot from BIOS or directly, it remains stuck at the motherboard logo.

In BIOS the boot sequence works properly and all hardware is detected—CPU, RAM, GPU, with CPU temperatures displayed.
The only steps I’ve tried so far are starting without any peripherals.
Perhaps I should remove the GPU and re-seat the RAM while I’m inside. Anyone have suggestions?

You mentioned yourself earlier to try reseating the RAM, but if it gets recognized it shouldn't be an issue. I would also attempt to restore the factory defaults in BIOS. If the firmware is outdated, installing the latest version should help.
Thank you for the assistance. I've already tried reseating RAM by changing which slots I use, and I've restored the default settings in BIOS and reset the CMOS battery. Something unusual happened after installing Windows from a USB drive—I can restart and it returns to Windows. However, it only boots again after a full shutdown. The Windows installation itself feels quite old, around 7 years. When I log in, I can connect to the internet and access my Microsoft account, but updates are not working. I'm planning to try installing a newer cumulative update manually to see if that helps.
