Whenever I restart my new computer, whether it's Windows or Ubuntu, it slows down for a second before freezing, making it impossible to do anything except shut it down. This happens after about a minute, and it occurs even when the system is running smoothly in BIOS and CPU temperatures are normal. The issue has persisted for about two weeks. It would be a big help if someone could assist me, as this machine was a Christmas gift for my son.
