My computer specifications are as follows: Ryzen 3600x, Biostar B450, Crucial DDR4 3200 MHz 8GB x2 RAM, GTX 1070. Initially it functioned well, but after installing a PCIe Wi-Fi card I encountered a BSOD with the message "Driver_IRQL_Not_Less_or_Equal." I dismissed it and restarted the PC, which then displayed another BSOD and prevented the system from starting. I removed the Wi-Fi card, checked the CMOS battery, tried RAM sticks in different slots, replaced components, disconnected peripherals, but nothing resolved the issue. After many attempts, I left the PC unplugged for several hours before it started working again. All RAM and CPU were detected in BIOS, yet it still wouldn’t POST. I suspected the Wi-Fi card was defective or that the motherboard was damaged, so I replaced it with a new one from Asus Prime B450M-A II. However, the PC still wouldn’t start. The fact that RAM and CPU were recognized before seems confusing to me. I also tried using a different power supply unit, but it didn’t help. Which component might have been affected? What part could a Wi-Fi card potentially damage, and why did it randomly trigger a POST failure?

Have you attempted this before? What kind of power supply do you have? WiFi cards shouldn't cause issues. The first error you encountered was a software problem. I don’t know what the second BSOD is about. You don’t have to shut down the PC to connect USB devices.

That's a strange one.
Try installing the WiFi card in another slot.

Hi everyone! I had the same issue too. I tried various fixes but nothing worked. I was updating my RAM, which might be related. I really thought it was the same thing, so please check this out! I managed to solve the problem by randomly trying things. I went to a technician (by choice, hehe) and when I arrived, he connected the power cable and his monitor. Surprisingly, everything worked fine except for one detail. When the computer started up, the BIOS screen appeared, asking if there was a hardware change needed. That’s why we can see the BIOS now! The only difference was the monitor. I looked it up online. His monitor was old and just turned off with a button press and HDMI connection. My monitor is newer—it powers on and off automatically, recognizes the connection, and uses digital port. He also used an HDMI connection from the motherboard, since my Intel i7 supports that, not my NVIDIA model. I found several online discussions about boot issues and accessing BIOS on monitors connected via digital port. Even NVIDIA released a firmware update to fix this problem (though it didn’t work for me).
