Every time I power on my PC, I’m essentially betting on the GPU’s performance. Here’s what happens. When I try to launch a game, everything seems normal at first, but once I start, the GPU usage spikes to 100% while frame rates plummet. The worst cases are games like Path Of Exile 2 or 1, where even at low settings, I see heavy stutters and noticeably reduced FPS. Pressing F1 reveals a massive lag, and restarting the PC repeatedly often resolves the issue. Performance drops significantly across all titles, including CPU-intensive ones like Minecraft League of Legends or CS2, with speeds cut by up to 60%. If I have a bad outcome, I’m left with no solution—just repeated restarts until it works, usually around four times. Once it functions, everything runs smoothly on PoE and other games. Windows 10 and 11 both tested, though the problem seems more pronounced on Windows 11. The system uses BIOS version 3.15, 3.16, and 3.18 with AMD 9800X3D graphics. It runs on a B650E Taichi Lite with DDR5 memory, 16GB RAM, and a 750W PSU.

GPU stats after leaving it powered on with PoE 2 menu active for a minute. Experiments included: rebuilding the system, disconnecting power from PSU and motherboard, confirming connections, updating all drivers in Safe Mode using DDU, resetting BIOS/NVidia settings, moving from Windows 10 to 11, reinstalling default configurations, adjusting GPU fan speed to maximum, turning off Integrated Graphics in Device Manager, reinserting RAM and GPU, enabling hardware acceleration, disabling gaming mode, and suppressing the resize bar.

Hi. Do you have any PCI-E expansion cards available? I'm reaching out because the last time I saw something similar, it was with a friend who had a PCI-E Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card, which negatively impacted his graphics card performance—though we couldn't pinpoint the exact issue. Also, 750W seems a bit high for such a setup.

I also have Bluetooth and Wi-Fi built-in on the motherboard, but turning them off didn’t resolve the problem. Maybe I should consider a upgrade later—my current setup uses 750W from an older system.

Adding this for those with comparable problems. Trying Gen 4 on PCIE 16 and turning off Gen 5 Redriver in the BIOS often fixed the issue I faced.
