Hello, I'm facing an issue with my single game after updating my graphics card. It begins to freeze after about 10 minutes, then pauses intermittently after a few hours of play, and resumes for short bursts before stopping completely. After switching the power supply from 750W to 1200W, the problem persists. Could you suggest some possible solutions or ideas to resolve this? Thanks!

What model is your card? If you own a triple quadro RTX 8000 NvLink with a 3990x, you won’t require a 1200W power supply—actually, 650W suffices for a single card configuration.

My motherboard is an Asus Prime 570 Pro CPU, paired with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600, running a Navidia 1660 Super RAM 32 GB DDR4 at 3200 MHz. The power supply is Corsair HX1200 V2 / 1200W with Platinum Platinum certification. I'm using Windows 10 and playing Path of Exile. I've gathered all the drivers available and applied the latest updates.

PSU: Which power supply unit?
Game: What title are you playing?
Drivers: Which ones are currently installed?

Did you adjust any components? CPU or graphics card? If yes, revert everything. Stability isn't guaranteed. How did you configure your RAM timing—by hand or via the memory settings?

I updated the settings so my CPU won’t overclock, but for my GPU I need to adjust something too. Just make sure my RAM is properly connected without any extra stuff.

I realized my GPU was overclocked when I purchased it. Is there any way to revert it to normal settings? Yes, I bought an overclocked GPU initially and never adjusted it myself.
