Hi guys,
I just purchased some new components, but they aren't functioning as expected.
The Rig:
MB: Asus ROG Crosshair Hero VIII Wi-Fi
CPU: AMD 5900X
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws - 2x32GB 4000MHz CL18
PSU: Be Quiet! Dark Power Pro 1000W
The issue is that when I enter BIOS and load the D.O.C.P, the system becomes unstable. I only managed to boot up with the D.O.C.P twice out of at least 20 attempts. I adjusted the memory down to 3800MHz instead of 4000 and changed the FCLK to 1900 MHz. There are so many overclocking options available that I'm unsure how to proceed to make it run as intended. Any expert advice would be greatly appreciated!
How can I get this thing to work properly, stay stable, and comply with Infinity Fabric?
These parts seem capable of delivering good performance, correct?
Thanks ahead of time!

I saw something online about older BIOS versions supporting more features than the newest ones. Not sure if that's accurate.
