I recently installed the NZXT H9 Elite case for my PC. After updating all my components inside, the headphone jack on the top panel only shows static from the left side of my headphones. I’ve verified the motherboard connector is fine, and the USB ports on the case are functioning properly. When I connect my headphones directly to the motherboard, everything works perfectly, but the cable isn’t long enough to reach my desk. I’ve reinstalled the audio drivers, yet the issue persists. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My system runs an Intel i7-1100F, RTX 3060ti, and an Asus PRIME B560M-A AC motherboard.

Verify if the HD Audio is connected to the MB via the case.

I connected what I have to my device, but I’m not sure which HD audio cable to use.

It would resemble this and be saved in your MB (which one do you use?)

Well then, it's not like that. I don't know, sorry.

I just resolved the issue! I connected it to the incorrect location on the motherboard… sorry about that. Appreciate your support!
