Issue with new R5 2600 experiencing overheating.

Good day, I just received a new R5 2600. After installing it and checking the temperatures, they were at 93°C. I repositioned the heat sink, which lowered the temps by around 10°C. Now it's idling at 79°C, and everything else is around 30°C. I'm not sure what to do next. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If moving the cooler made a small difference, it’s likely the mount isn’t set right. Check if the fan operates normally and if the thermal paste is applied properly.

What kind of cooler are you using? Most contemporary coolers include features that stop you from tightening them too much.

Because it's the stock cooler, create a star design and secure those bolts until they stop turning.

You're using an R5 2600 and encountered problems with a clogged air intake. Past experiences show similar issues with a dirty AIO.
