Setting up a new PC and connecting the power to the 24-pin connector, CPU fan, and CPU power was expected to show some LEDs indicating life. I was unsure why it wasn’t receiving power. I attempted using the same PSU on another board, which worked. I’m just checking if the board is getting power and need advice. See the pictures.

Are you attempting to jump the pins on the motherboard in order to power on the PSU? Otherwise, you probably won't notice anything.
Also, could you tell me what CPU model you're using?

I was attempting to jump, but it didn't begin. Removing the part from the screwdriver made it work.

Posted in BIOS, everything is fine. Key takeaway: When facing problems with shorting to power on the PC, experiment with various objects—it functions. Additionally, maintaining firm pressure on the contacts proved necessary; instead of holding steady, a slight movement was required.

Yes, just "touch" and as soon as you detect power, release. Same to shut it off.
