Did you notice this display? If not, you might still need to install the BIOS update. It’s likely you’d first require a compatible processor. Noted @--SID-- that was mentioned earlier. Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRyFMf0D9Lc

You're unsure about MSI but usually wait for the LED to stop flashing. It seems your board has a BIOS flashback feature with a button on the back I/O, so it might not be an issue.

Every time I've waited until the LED stops and even until the system finishes completely/gives up and turns off on it's own but this still hasn't solved anything. I've been doing this with the gpu not plugged in to a display so I'm not sure if I could even see anything if it was.

I also saw that, I tweaked my update 3 seconds after publishing, you're quick. Accurate.

The screen stopped receiving signals from the GPU during startup, and the problem remains unresolved. A CPU error code persists and stays active.

Having the GPU without the CPU likely won’t show anything because the top slot is usually connected to the CPU rather than the chipset for better performance. You might not see any output at all, as a CPU update is probably required first. It’s possible you won’t get a display until the update is applied. You may need to flash an older version before updating to the latest. I’d go ahead with the flash and then watch a YouTube video to help it complete the process. Depending on the board, it could take several automatic restarts before finishing.
