Issue with MSI B450M PRO-M2 EZ DEBUG LED
This is my initial attempt at building something. The design worked well until I encountered a recent issue. Once everything was set up, I powered on the PC and noticed all fans were running—GPU, CPU, and even the keyboard. The monitor showed no post and the debug LED was lit.
Specs: The motherboard is an MSI B450M PRO-M2 with 2666MHz RAM, a Ryzen 5 1600 CPU, an MSI Radeon RX480 with 4GB RAM, a 500W power supply, and an 128GB SSD. I’ve tried swapping RAM sticks between slots and testing different models, but nothing resolved the problem.
Currently I’m considering replacing the RAM sticks with DDR4 3200MHz ones, as suggested by someone online. They mentioned my motherboard might not support those speeds, which I’m not sure about since I couldn’t find the information in the manual or specs. I ordered DDR4 3200MHz sticks from Sunday and hope it fixes everything. If it doesn’t, could you recommend another motherboard that fits these requirements? Thank you for your help!
there are quality b450 boards available. the msi b450 a-pro or tomawnahk max represent the premium options in this category. the most affordable choice you can find is the asrock pro 4 m.
