Issue with Msi B450 not detecting RAM
I recently purchased all the parts needed for a fresh setup: CPU – Ryzen 5 3600, Motherboard – MSI B450 Gaming Plus, RAM – Team T-Force Vulcan Z 2x 8 GB DDR4, GPU – MSI GTX 1660 Super Ventus xs, PSU – EVGA 600W GD. I connected everything inside the case and noticed the issue: the motherboard isn’t detecting the RAM. I’ve swapped the modules and tested one at a time without success. Despite careful inspection, nothing seems physically blocked, but the CPU does recognize it. The GPU works fine. I’m unsure if there’s something preventing the RAM from being detected. Could this be the cause? What steps should I take to resolve it? Also, I’ve confirmed the RAM slots are correctly installed in the motherboard.
Do you have additional RAM available for testing purposes? It would be useful to determine whether the problem lies with the RAM or the motherboard. I’m still trying to identify the cause, so knowing which component might be involved would help. If you can pinpoint the issue, replacing the affected part would be straightforward.
