Hi, your new 16GB RAM was installed successfully and everything ran smoothly at the default speed. However, enabling XMP 1 profile caused the BIOS to refuse booting and repeatedly reset the CMOS. Despite updating the BIOS to the latest version, the issue persists. I searched online and asked ChatGPT for help, but no solution came up. Could you help a fellow user? Thanks! Your specs include an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max RAM kit (2x8GB) and Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 16GB.

I can't post or capture screenshots directly. However, you can view the PassMark RamMon and CPU-Z motherboard tabs by visiting their respective websites or using a tool like a browser extension to take a screenshot.

Two of your RAM units use Samsung memory while two are SK-Hynix, which means they aren't the same type. This is causing compatibility problems. On some systems I've fixed similar issues by splitting one RAM pair into a channel and the other into a different channel. Try placing the SK Hynix modules in B2 and A2 with the Samsung in B1 and A1. If that doesn't resolve the issue, switch to Samsung in B2 and A2 with Hynix in B1 and A1. If neither works, it's likely time to replace the RAM.

Swapped them around and immediately replied with my 3200mHz powered browser. The SK Hynix modules were just bought, so I initially placed them in A1 & B1 earlier today. The problem was fixed by moving them to A2 & B2. I thought the model numbers might be slightly different from what I received a few years ago. I asked the staff about the differences, but they hesitated to answer. I took the chance since the general specifications seemed similar to my beginner perspective, and I couldn't pinpoint the exact Samsung model. Anyway, it all worked perfectly now—thank you for your help!

Verify the stability thoroughly. I also used Hynix+Samsung (CJR and B-Die), but it worked with Hynix CJR and Samsung B-Die as well. Upgrading the Ryzen 3600 to Ryzen 7 5700X or at least Ryzen 5 5600 would be a good option.

Thank you for the suggestion. The Windows Memory Diagnostic evaluated the system's RAM and found no issues.
