Issue with motherboard overheating causing PC failure to start
Issue with motherboard overheating causing PC failure to start
2 days ago i was planning to install another RAM, but it didn’t work in the first slot.
I opened the CPU, checked the thermal paste, tried cleaning it, and it was below the CPU.
After wiping it with a bit of water and letting it dry, it worked for 30 minutes.
Then it stopped functioning again.
The PSU is fine.
There’s a hot spot in the MB, but it won’t boot and there’s no sound from speakers or cables.
What might be causing this issue?
