2 days ago i was planning to install another RAM, but it didn’t work in the first slot.
I opened the CPU, checked the thermal paste, tried cleaning it, and it was below the CPU.
After wiping it with a bit of water and letting it dry, it worked for 30 minutes.
Then it stopped functioning again.
The PSU is fine.
There’s a hot spot in the MB, but it won’t boot and there’s no sound from speakers or cables.
What might be causing this issue?

When sharing a troubleshooting thread, ensure you provide complete system specifications. List them clearly as follows:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Add the age of the PSU along with its make and model.
Refer to the motherboard's PCB inscription or manual to match slots correctly on the board.
I opened the CPU, found thermal paste applied, but it was below the CPU.
Consider attaching images showing the condition of the CPU socket.

I saw a few CPU pins bent after cleaning.... The PSU isn't spinning, I tested two others the same way...
