I recently assembled a compact ITX gaming setup. I installed an MSI B450i mini ITX AMD motherboard and paired it with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3rd gen CPU. Since the BIOS on the board seemed outdated, I purchased a budget Gen 1 AMD Athlon 3000G to refresh the BIOS for my Gen 3 processor. Despite that, I still don’t see any display or output. Do you have any suggestions about what might be wrong? Here are the links: motherboard page and processor page.

Sorry, yes everything starts. All fans spin and i have ram installed a graphics card, all of it. There is a white light that glows on the motherboard which is the only light that i can see when I turn on the pc. I've talked to some friends about the pc and they have looked at it and they do not know what the problem is, everything is installed correctly and i have all the parts that i need.

The 3000G is a newly released Zen+ APU model. Booting it might require a BIOS upgrade.

It seems you need version 7A40vA7. This BIOS version came out in 2019, so any board created earlier—especially one that hasn’t been updated—won’t boot with the 3000G.
