Issue with Minecraft's garbage collection causing performance drops.
The memory cleaner is slowing down your game, causing noticeable lag spikes each time it runs. No matter the settings, options, or launch methods you try, the game still experiences performance drops after garbage collection. A video showing these spikes is attached. Your hardware includes a Ryzen 5 2600 CPU, GTX 1050 Ti GPU, 2x8GB RAM at 3200MHz, CL16 motherboard, Corsair CX450 PSU, and an ASUS Prime A320M motherboard. Some components are from your previous build, but you should be able to run the game smoothly. Someone might be able to help resolve this issue.
It didn’t really alter anything. I saw some info earlier suggesting 50ms is the lowest acceptable time since the game runs at 20TPS and 1TPS would equate to 50ms (I’m not sure if that’s accurate). Regarding -Xmn128M, it seems to help by increasing garbage collection frequency, which reduces the amount of work and lessens lag spikes, though it still occurs. Basically, it gathers trash every 100MB. When checking RAM usage, it collected around 700MB initially, then dropped to about 600MB, continuing that pattern even with a 3GB allocation.
