Have you experimented with creating a fresh universe? I managed to enjoy Minecraft with 4GB of RAM, likely due to better optimization.

4gb of RAM works just fine for Minecraft. I ran it on my laptop a few days back with the same amount, and everything functioned smoothly at the same speed I used on my PC. The lower render didn’t work, but max render did.

I don’t own a texture pack, but my laptop has Core 2 Duo with built-in graphics. It should handle the game well and run at full capacity without issues.

This could keep me playing as long as I want—it won’t crash unless I try to quit. It only stops working when I close the game, and there are no mods or texture packs. It’s a pure, original version just installed.
