Hello everyone,
I’m experiencing an issue when trying to sign in to Microsoft Edge on my PC. When I click the sign-in tab, my saved Outlook email appears, but only one tab is visible: "Send Code."
Although I’m logged into my Outlook account, I don’t receive any code. I’ve also checked the junk folder, but nothing shows up. My internet connection is stable and I can access emails on other addresses.
The only available option is the "send code" button, which doesn’t work for me. Could anyone suggest a solution? Thank you in advance for your help!

What Windows OS is installed?
What version of Outlook (Classic or New) are you using?
My thought is that Microsoft Edge is defaulting to some web page requiring you to enter a confirmation code in order to login or otherwise access that web page.
And that confirmation code is being sent to some other email account - not one of yours.
Take some screenshots and post the screenshots here via imgur (

More information needed.

Hello, thank you for your response. I have Windows 10 installed and use Chrome for my Outlook email account. I logged in from my phone without any code. I've attached three screenshots for your reference...

I only looked at my inbox and junk emails on ScreenshotHots, but I didn't find any code.

it would require a code for account recovery, but it wouldn't attempt to send one to itself.

Since I saved bookmarks and passwords on Edge during my Outlook login, I was able to access the pages after signing out. Now I can't log back in because the saved items are stored there. I can still log into my Microsoft account with another browser like Chrome, but Edge isn't working for me. I hope you understand my situation, my English isn't perfect. Also, I tried private mode, but I need the saved data to sync properly.

It might be possible to transmit that code to a phone you previously owned, depending on how it's configured.
This particular feature has not been available for quite some time, and it represents the most significant weakness of Edge.

This relates to Windows Hello. I've had a similar problem too. It's really annoying!
