Hi everyone,
I’m sorry about the unclear title. I’ll try to make it clearer here.
My RODE USB Microphone is functioning properly, but there are some problems. When I play Rocket League on PC with an Xbox 360 controller and use Discord, my input disappears in Discord within five minutes. I can still hear myself clearly through my headset. To fix it, I just need to leave and rejoin the Discord voice channel. This issue can occur 3 to 10 times during a one-hour session.
I recently switched to Windows 11 and didn’t notice this before. I turned off all recording devices except my microphone, which is the only active one and my default device. I checked all USB settings and disabled them from turning off in performance. I’m not sure what’s causing it—Google says drivers are up to date, but I don’t see any microphone drivers listed.
It only happens when using the controller, not with other games.

When sharing a troubleshooting post, it's important to provide complete system details. Please format your specs as follows:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Mic:
Controller:
Also include the age of the PSU, along with its make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this time.
Have you attempted reinstalling USB/chipset drivers via an elevated command, such as right-clicking the installer and selecting Run as Administrator?
I recently switched to Windows 11 without realizing it before. Did you upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 through the internal upgrade process? If yes, you’ll need to generate a bootable USB for Windows 11 and reinstall the OS in offline mode, disconnecting all drives except the one you’re installing on.
