I bought several dominator platinums 2400 11-13-13-31 but my system isn't working. The motherboard seems fine and works with regular vengeance pro 2133 9-11-11-31 RAM. The platinums themselves don’t look bad either, though I’m not sure. If a stick fails, the system keeps powering on, but the CPU LED flashes briefly before the RAM LED stays lit. I’ve tried using the memok button, but it didn’t help. My other specs include a 2600k and a p8z68-v pro board. I haven’t checked the sql table to confirm compatibility, but that usually only matters for xmp. Jedec speeds should be set automatically (I’ve also reset the bios).

It's likely they aren't QVL, the QVL entries are fixed for accepted and rejected dims. This means the SPD chip on the dimms and memory controller may not be communicating properly.

The specifications date back to 2011, yet the RAM might have been built as recently as 2015. I kept the motherboard with just two power settings instead of four to simplify things, but after about twenty minutes I gave up. What bothers me most is having the same RAM version on one of my older builds (both 4.23, Samsung). I’m aware that at 2133MHz I hit a ceiling, but with this 2400MHz board I aimed to achieve that frequency precisely, using the IMC as the main constraint for memory performance.
