An 80°C reading is relatively mild—have you looked at your hotspot? Devices such as HWMonitor offer basic monitoring with occasional odd readings, while HWInfo64 provides detailed sensor data for precise tracking.

He didn’t install anything; simply increasing fan speed is the standard response of any cooling fan in your setup unless you forcefully limit it. After running 9800x3D for a few years, the fans became clogged with debris, which blocked airflow and damaged the thermal material. The situation worsened because the front mesh filter turned into just a plain mesh. Outcome: Fans spin at maximum capacity, but airflow remains poor. Your CPU’s thermal paste isn’t conducting heat efficiently anymore—temperatures rise, and fans barely move.
