Hi there, I'm dealing with a Macbook Air from late 2019 running Mojave 10.14.6. Recently, I noticed some odd behavior with the menu bar when using an external display. Instead of fading to gray, the menu bar on the built-in screen turns white, and when switching to the external monitor, its menu bar also turns gray as expected. I've tried a workaround by switching to light mode, which seems to resolve the issue, but I'm still unsure how to pinpoint the exact cause. Most of the forums mentioning this seem to focus on Sierra or High Sierra versions, so I'm hoping for guidance from those platforms. Please let me know if this is the right place—I've tried to provide all the details possible. Thanks a lot!
