Hello, I received a new ADATA 860 Legend SSD, but after some time it vanishes from Task Manager as an unknown disk. In the BIOS it still appears, and it didn’t overheat since it reached a maximum temperature of 40°C. In Command Prompt it’s not visible at all—it seems Windows is trying to ignore that disk. Even the offline disk command doesn’t detect it. After restarting, it comes back automatically. I’m unsure if the disk or Windows is acting strangely. Previously, I couldn’t even format it because it kept saying a device didn’t exist.

Open Disk Management in Windows. Initialize the disk so it becomes functional afterward.

Consider checking the details for your motherboard, especially regarding slot configurations. Certain slots may become inactive based on other components present. If this happens, attempt modifying the driver settings.
