Hello everyone!
I recently upgraded my CPU to improve compatibility with my GPU. I was hoping for a significant improvement in gaming performance across all titles. However, I haven’t noticed any noticeable gains—some games even run slower than before.

My current setup includes:
- CPU: I9-9900K 3.6 GHz (boosts up to 4.8–5 GHz with games)
- GPU: RTX 2080 TI 12 GB
- Motherboard: MSI Z390 PRO CARBON AC
- BIOS: Latest version
- Power Supply: 1000 W
- RAM: Corsair 32 GB (2x16), 3200 MHz (XMP enabled in BIOS)
- Storage: 1 TB HDD + 500 GB SSD
- Monitor: 2K, 165 Hz refresh rate

Games tested so far:
- *AC Odyssey* – performance drops to around 30–40 FPS with ultra settings; unstable in cities.
- *Red Dead Redemption 2* – about 70 FPS at ultra, but still feels like room for improvement.
- *The Hunter Call of the Wild* – 40–60 FPS in some areas, but I think my PC could use a bit more power to hit higher numbers.
- *Rainbow Six Siege* – solid 70–90 FPS with ultra settings; not as demanding as others.
- *Payday 2* – 70–80 FPS, though frame drops occur in assault missions with too many corpses.

I’ve tried updating BIOS, drivers, Windows, and even enabled Game Boost and XMP options. Reinstalling the OS didn’t help much.

My question remains:
Am I using my PC effectively enough to reach its potential?
I’ve seen benchmarks suggesting games like *AC Odyssey* should hit 80 FPS or more. While I can play at 50 FPS in some titles, I’d like to push performance further without breaking the bank.

Thank you!

CPU temperature hovers between 50-60º and GPU around 70-76º. CPU utilization is 30-45%, while GPU usage sits at 96-99%. This was observed while playing AC Odyssey with the performance overlay on (F1). Note: An in-game screenshot of the performance tab shows increasing FPS after starting the game, though FPS drops later.

I also ran Userbenchmark, here are the results:
https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/36190667
Edit: Perhaps my RTX 2080 Ti is not performing well enough. Please confirm if I'm misunderstanding, but with 99% GPU usage in all games, it seems my GPU might be reaching its limit. If so, are there any solutions I can try? Or should I return the PC to the technician?
