Issue with losing network connection.
Issue with losing network connection.
Hey there! I'm not a network expert, but I'm doing my best to help with your home setup. Your main router (dir-859) is on the other side of the house, which means the kitchen connection isn't great—only 3mbps compared to the 40mbps you get at your desk. You installed a second router (dir-655) under the kitchen floor using Cat 6 cable, trying it as a Wi-Fi extender. The results aren't great; you're getting around 10mbps in the kitchen, and your internet keeps dropping. You can still see the router's settings, but you're not connected to the wider internet. Anyone else faced this issue? Do you have any suggestions or tips? Thanks!
It seems your setup on the secondary might be the issue, since everything functions normally when it's turned off.
Yes, they connect properly and function. Are you still experiencing slower speeds than expected?
I receive up to 6 points at most, and then nothing after a few seconds.
