You're asking about a situation where the system can't identify the fans because it has two ARGB headers, and you don't have to set up any detection.

The argb cable is linked to rainbow2 via the fan hub on the rear panel. When I chose it in Mystic Light, the RGB option failed after applying; I attempted a different solid color instead.

Weird. Now I would like to see a pic of that fan/argb hub from your case, should look like this:

The upper-right connector is meant for the RGB switch button in your cases. It’s currently disconnected, which is why it doesn’t work. You should look for a connector labeled “LED SW.”

Connect it via the led switch button at the top of your case, then trace the cable. Note: You must link it to activate your Mainboard software for LED control.

Inspected the front panel connectors but didn’t locate the LED switch. All cables visible so far are attached to the motherboard.

Keep the cable from your 3rd button on the front or top end and connect it to your fan/RGB hub.

Only one cable connects from the third button, and I've already linked all of them to the motherboard.
