I have a client with a Lenovo Yoga 7i 8th generation 16IRL8. Upon startup, it prompts for keyboard language and then advances to advanced setup, refusing to boot. Clearing the BIOS, reseating the drive, and using the Windows installer all fail to detect the SSD in DiskPart or the installer. I've tried downloading various drivers but only found a VMD driver that doesn't allow detection. No available drivers seem to resolve the issue. I also replaced the drive, which still shows a security authorization error and doesn't recognize it. None of these steps have worked. Can anyone assist?

I don't have access to your current system details, so I can't confirm if a newer BIOS is available. Please check your device's manufacturer website or contact support for the latest updates.

I used two different storage devices and verified they appear in the BIOS, but not in the disk section or during the Windows installation process.

I don't think that's right. Perhaps I should attempt to download the newest BIOS?

Check for the newest BIOS update and consider upgrading the chipset as well. This might fix the issue.
