Ever since I got my laptop, its screen has had this problem in the bottom as can be seen in the picture. The width of the area effected changes but it does not get much worse that what can be seen. Can anyone say if this problem is because of the screens signal cable loose at the mobo connection or something else? Moving the screen does not have effect on the distortion. Heres the link to the specs: https://laptopmedia.com/laptop-specs/len...-7-15-100/

Link an external screen and observe the result. This is probably a damaged cable, so consider checking the warranty.

Understood. I noticed no indication of the issue when connected to an external screen, and sometimes it doesn’t appear at all. Are you certain the problem lies with the cable rather than the connector between the motherboard and the cable?
