PC specifications are R5 7600x with Radeon 7600xt, 32GB DDR5 RAM, 6000MB SSD. My system has been generally stable, but I'm experiencing odd graphics issues lately. In Fortnite, Code, and PUBG, object edges appear blurry and shifting. I've adjusted all settings, yet my FPS stays normal except in the lobby where I freeze at around 5 FPS for about 15 seconds after exiting a game (even with FPS capped). That was fine before because I usually play CS:GO and Valorant, which don’t have these issues. Recently, while playing COD, my PC crashed and shut down unexpectedly. After restarting, the screen went dark and then changed colors slowly instead of smoothly. My mouse, keyboard, and taskbar behave strangely—laggy and unresponsive. The Windows 11 login screen dimmed, then shifted through shades normally, but after a reset, it didn’t change as expected. When adjusting display settings, I can’t change the refresh rate, and my monitor shows 60fps even when using its joystick. If I change the screen color, it jumps between shades instead of transitioning smoothly. I don’t suspect malware since I rarely download anything. My drivers and Windows are all up to date, so I’m unsure what’s causing this. I thought about physically removing the GPU, but it’s a tight space and difficult to do, so I’ll hold off until someone suggests it.
Yes, you have the Microsoft Basic Graphics driver installed. It appears to be compatible with your setup.
Updated the BIOS driver and let me know your PSU. It might be less powerful for this machine.
I resolved the issue—drivers were already there, I verified using AMD's tool, then uninstalled and reinstalled. When I pressed uninstall, nothing came off, the screen briefly went black, and everything returned to normal with drivers still up to date. I still don’t understand why that happened, but it worked for me.
