Hello everyone, we recently faced an issue while setting up a PC for a friend. The machine started up correctly and Windows was installed, but we couldn't connect the Ethernet card. The latest driver from ASUS (Intel LAN Driver V1.1.3.28 for Windows 11 64-bit) and Windows 10 64-bit isn’t installing properly. We checked the BIOS settings related to the LAN or Ethernet connection, but found nothing unusual. I’ve been searching online for about five hours without success. The driver mentions a CMD installer, but when we try it, it shows an error: "Access denied." When we run the standard installation file, it asks for permission changes and then freezes for a short time before stopping. My brother and another friend are also building PCs at the same time—maybe they’re experiencing the same problem.
