About a year ago I purchased a gaming PC through iBuyPower using their build creator. It turned out I saved money but the cooling was lacking, causing the CPU to throttle. I’m seeking advice on preventing an i7 9700K from reaching 100°C under heavy load. Could someone share tips? I’d appreciate any guidance.

Check if you're pushing beyond the default settings. Return to standard speed/voltage and verify if the issue continues.

Which case are we discussing? I don’t think there’s a clear reason a 240mm AIO wouldn’t handle a 9700kW if you’re careful with voltage during overclocking.

The CPU isn’t running at an overclocked or overvolt condition right now. It seems the AIO isn’t even handling the cooling properly at normal speeds—I might need to swap it out, but I’m not sure what parts to use.
