Issue with internet connection Problem experiencing slow or unstable internet performance
The internet tester provides a certain speed. The actual download speed depends on the source and destination. You're checking from a specific location, using a particular plan, and measuring speed through a testing method. Connection details aren't included here.
A website or service can operate on several servers and distribute traffic among them. You may experience varying performance compared to others using the same site. Migration of instances can lead to different versions being served. Routing decisions also play a role—someone in Greece might connect to a Dutch server while another in Sweden does the same, but due to different paths through Germany or Denmark, speeds will differ. All these elements affect the experience, regardless of your local hardware or ISP.
Additionally, speed-testing sites provide you with recommended nearby servers for comparison. However, choosing a farther server will result in slower performance. The results depend on the specific server you test. When visiting other websites, you may encounter different configurations—such as missing CDNs, inefficient routing, heavy traffic, or congestion. Internet speeds can also fluctuate throughout the day due to varying user activity and network load.
Would you like the model number of the case or perhaps the count of screws used in the PC? What specifications are you looking for?
It's clearly obvious what you're asking. Let me know how I can help!
What kind of immature answer is this? You walk in here seeking assistance. I pose a pretty broad question that almost everyone asks when they come in—what are your system specs? I wouldn’t ask this if it wasn’t worth our time. If you needed to tell a mechanic about your car, you’d mention the details, not just its color. Good luck. Shocking. If you’re unsure of your system specs, just share them and we’ll work through it together.
1: 320mbps to learn to read
2: depends around 20 or 50 MBps
3: do you expect a list of every site I’ve ever downloaded from? right now Steam
4: aaaa? PC? do you want the partition
5: the one where you ask how I actually measure speed is very stupid
Steam tells you the download speed
6: I said I get the same speed on Wi-Fi in the same room with the router
so we assume it’s wired, which means Ethernet
7: 950-900 mbps
What details are required? Should I provide your PC specifications directly, or should I ask about your PSU, router, drivers, GPU, and CPU? I don’t need to list everything—just confirm the needed parts so I understand if your plan can work at 900-950 Mbps.
