And...? They should provide additional information beyond what you shared. Each ISP handles router usage differently, so we can't rely solely on the limited details you gave. Is OpenReach your internet service provider? I’m sure another user with the same plan could help... @Alex Atkin UK

Openreach builds the UKs network infrastructure my ISP is called Vodafone. I have just got off from talking to them and they have given me the PPPoE and vlan I'd details. I'm currently waiting on everyone in my house to go to bed before trying again. If the new instructions my isp have given me I don't know what I'm going to do.

Nothing appears to be functioning properly and I'm unsure of the cause. The diagnostic test on the ASUS router indicated an issue with the modem, but I have no clear guidance on next steps.

The VLAN number applies only to the shared DSL modem/router in a FTTC connection; the ONT manages FTTP and handles PPPoE authentication. If issues persist, check the router's logs for errors.
