I used the pea method initially for applying the thermal paste. Later, I switched to a more consistent technique.

No, you cannot directly use a box cooler designed for an i3 processor with one that's intended for an i5 10400F. The cooling solutions are optimized for specific CPU models and their thermal requirements.

It might have been a little too tight on the cooler. Sometimes the Intel box coolers need extra effort. Try switching sides to spread the pressure evenly.

You’d likely receive a modest 20$ thermal right cooler, since the regular one isn’t very effective for an i5 processor.

I verified the fan, it wasn't turned on. Now I face another issue—once I power it up, the monitor shows nothing and the graphics card isn't working.

You took out the GPU to access the cooler. If that's correct, reinstall it.

I can easily reach the CPU without taking out the GPU. At startup, all fans run alongside the CPU, not the GPU, and it doesn’t produce an image through DP or HDMI.

The issue has been resolved. The card was disconnected and the dp cable was repaired. Here’s how the temperatures appeared post-replacement and installation. Are they still excessive and affecting performance?
