Issue with HP Elitebook x360 1030 G3 display functioning incorrectly.
Hey there, I own my dad's HP Elitebook x360 1030 G3. The screen doesn't function properly when Windows loads (it works fine in BIOS so it’s not a display issue). Removing the display drivers fixes it, but connecting an external monitor isn’t possible. I’ve added a Google Drive link to a video demonstrating what happens when I power on the laptop. I've tried several solutions—like reinstalling drivers and doing a full Windows reinstall—but none have helped. Some of the fixes I tried were: 1) reinstall drivers 2) perform a complete Windows reinstall. Thanks in advance, and feel free to reach out if you need more help or have questions (video link included).
Hi, it seems the integrated GPU isn't functioning properly. The BIOS isn't loading graphics drivers, and display drivers aren't working either. You might attempt to install older graphics driver versions, though this isn't a sure fix.
Perform a fresh installation of Windows. If this doesn't resolve the issue, reach out to HP Premium Support.
