For everyday tasks on mu PC, the connection worked well, but during gaming the latency became noticeable. Someone could assist or point out any unknown issues.

Ping relies on the actual distance between you and the server you're interacting with. It measures how many hops or routers a packet must pass through. Since the test server is likely near you, ping will be minimal. If you're connected to a game server that's farther away, packets travel more, increasing latency. The only solution is to choose a server closer to your location.

I have consistent internet speed, but it varies based on the server you're using in the game. Fortunately, Australia and New Zealand connect to America through an underwater fiber cable, giving me a reasonable ping on North American servers. Just pick a server in the game or launcher and set your region, and you should be fine.
