Hi Guys, I need a bit of help I recently bought GTA V as it was half price on Steam and I thought why not! Before buying it I had a look at the 'Recommended' system requirements (see picture below) which my system meets but for some reason I am having trouble running anything over 20fps and in the city I am lucky if I get 5fps regardless of what settings I use from Low on everything or Ultra/High. So I'm just really confused at to what the problem could be, is this a common problem with GTA V or is there potentially something up with my system? Any help would be a massive help. My system specs are: Processor - Intel i5-4460 Ram - Kingston HyperX Fury 16GB GPU - Sapphire R9 390 Nitro (8GB) OS - Windows 10 Steam stated specs:

The problem lies in GTA's graphics configuration. Should we capture some images?

There are three power-hungry settings in GTA, though I can't recall their names. The social club update has caused persistent issues that are hard to resolve. I haven't used an AMD GPU recently, but if their drivers offer quick settings like Nvidia does, it might help.

I've adjusted the graphics settings to various levels but still face the same low FPS issue. My monitor is ultrawide, and I've tested both 2560x1080 and 1920x1080 resolutions without any change.

I wasn't aware that was something I should check for a faster game setting in the drivers.

It's available in AMD Gaming Evolved. If you don't have it, you can likely locate it on AMD's website. I typically use Nvidia's version for most games, though you should be aware it may adjust the resolution to match your screen.

I discovered this adjustment and enabled the auto settings, and it appears to be working well now. Appreciate your assistance!
