Issue with GTA 5 fullscreen display showing black screen.
Hello everyone, whenever I start the game it opens in windowed mode and everything works fine. But when I switch to fullscreen, the screen turns black until the game loads, then the menu appears but I can't interact with it or hear any sounds. I've tried almost everything—reinstalling the game, installing a fresh driver using DDU, and checking support chat for fixes—but nothing has helped. Have anyone experienced this issue before?
Hey, sorry for the delayed response—I was out for a few days.
My specs are as follows:
CPU: i7 8700 K O'C @ 4.7 GHz
GPU: MSI GTX 1080 ARMOR OC 8 GB
MB: ASUS PRIME Z370 p
PSU: Cooler Master Masterwatt Lite 700 W
RAM: 2x 8 GB Ripjaws
HDD: 1 TB HDD (OS and most games installed)
SSD: 120 GB
The unusual issue is that it only occurs in GTA and previously worked fine.
