Issue with GTA 4 low-resolution shadows resolved.
My computer specifications are an Nvidia GT 710 with 2GB GDDR3, 4GB DDR2 RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 at 2.93 GHz, a 500GB HDD, and Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I purchased GTA 4 from the offline store and installed it on my PC. After updating to patch 1.0.7.0, my FPS was poor with medium shadows, so I upgraded to patch 1.0.4.0. Now FPS is great even with high shadows, but the shadows remain too grainy, making it hard for me to enjoy the game. The screenshot you shared shows the issue clearly. Please help me fix this. I really need your assistance.

until now, i have asked more than 10 questions on this forum but i never got proper help or reply to that, rather than telling me my system is low, can you help me to fix the grainy shadows as this is a bug not graphical issue, my friend has core 2 duo e6500, 4gb ram gt 710 which is lower than mine but he didnt got those grainy shadows, he is also using same patch as mine but this issue is only with me.

the mediafire link of the fix is not working for me but the issue of the guy in this forum is same as mine, but he is patch 1.0.3.0 and i am 1.0.4.0
if you suspect an issue, test various versions of the GPU driver.
up to now I've tried reinstalling the GPU drivers, switching to different ones, reinstalling the game and then applying a patch to 1.0.4.0 again. Please help me. I believe there might be a solution; do you or any of your friends have GTA 4 downgraded to 1.0.4.0? If so, could you share the shader folder? It might help since shaders often contain shadow-related files.
I asked my friend, but he mentioned he lives in a hostel while his PC is at home. His house and the hostel are 120 km apart. Please help me. He is my Discord friend, not a real-life one.
