The system still uses the motherboard display. It's an i3 2100, and installing the GPU driver requires it to be on the motherboard itself. However, after installing it that way, it won't boot. It might be a compatibility issue between the two components.
Noted a few comparable reports about similar problems. Users say updating the BIOS resolved the issue. However, this requires either a donor card or integrated graphics. If you don’t have either and can’t get someone to help, it might be best to take it to a repair shop. Hope it works out for you! Let me know if you find a solution—I’m interested. I’m not very familiar with AMD GPUs myself.
Everything is set now. My bios were updated, but I haven’t posted yet. The mom’s PC bios are also working after the changes.
