So guys, the problem i have is extremely weird and frustrating AF. When i log into Project Cars 2, not even 5 mins in and the internet connection drops out. Then 5-6 secs later it reconnects on its own and does that 3-5 times. Sometimes it does it 4-5 times in a row and then it's fine until i decided i had enough racing, sometimes the problem just keeps reappearing every 10-20 minutes. So far the only thing i HAVEN'T done is clean windows install. Tried reinstalling Steam and the game itself; tried with all kinds of network drivers, newest and older ones; disabled every single possible power saving feature and setting for the network adapter both in Windows and BIOS. Not even restarts help. And it happens only in Project Cars 2. In ACC and iRacing i do 6 hour endurance races without a single hitch, but as soon as PC2 comes along and i start quali or race and it's BAM - dc. Anyone experienced anything weird like that ? System in its current state is: AsRock B450 Steel Legend Ryzen 5800X 4x8GB A-data DDR4 3200 CL16 EVGA GTX 1070 FTW 2 Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 750W 512 GB NVMe 2x2TB Seagate Barracuda 250GB A-data SU 650 as cache for one of the cudas with StoreMI Windows 10 Pro

If you're putting in a lot of work, a fresh installation won't cause any damage. Just remember to save your data beforehand.

The issue is precisely about backups. I sometimes deploy eight virtual machines with various configurations (such as running Lineage 2 accounts), and the most recent time I needed a reinstall, VMware refused to read the saved configuration files I had stored alongside the settings, forcing me to spend three days reorganizing everything. This is why I always aim to prevent it at all costs.
