Hello everyone, I'm just starting with PCs and recently upgraded mine. During a game, the screen freezes and only my headphones play. When I press the Windows key and return to the game, everything works again. My setup includes a Ryzen 5 3600 with stock cooler, an RX 6700 XT 2x8 GB, Corsair CX650W, and Crucial MX500 500GB.

I checked for driver updates, re-seated components, and disabled XMP settings. The problem started after installing the new hardware.

It happened suddenly, probably around three weeks back. I made it in December last year. I haven’t checked for driver updates or re-seating yet. I’ll let you know as soon as I can.

Sure, give it a shot. If that fails, consider disabling XMP settings and ensure your AMD chipset drivers are up to date on the processor.

I tried disabling XMP, but it didn’t help. I updated the CPU and GPU, yet the issue persists—it still freezes.

What's the amount of free space on your disk? Is the SSD nearing capacity? Use the CrystalDiskInfo app to check, available at https://crystalmark.info/en/download/. You'll see the current status, including the presence of an anime theme and a standard version. You should download CrystalDiskInfo instead of CrystalDiskMark.

It appears the size is listed as 122.1/488.2 GB, which equals 25.0%.

The threshold at 95% indicates solid wellness, suggesting the issue likely stems from something else rather than the SSD itself. Before the symptoms began, there was probably a recent modification or enhancement that preceded the problem.

I really can't recall turning on SAM for AMD recently, so I checked the BIOS, but online sources suggested it could relate to my power supply or a bottleneck in my system.
