Hey everyone, I've been using Fancontrol for some time now, but lately Windows is flagging it as a virus. The software doesn't recognize any fans, and I'm stuck with the V234 version. It only shows a brief virus alert before it stops working. No error messages from the app—just a quick scan followed by failure. Anyone have suggestions on how to fix this without using Armoury Crate? Thanks!

Consider downloading the newest FanControl version straight from its official GitHub repository and reinstalling it. You might want to create an exception in Windows Security for the relevant folder to allow Defender from blocking it. Be sure to delete any previous versions before doing so.

Many users encountered the same issue today, so I anticipate a solution will be released. Thank you for your reply!

I don't have a motherboard, but I can help you find information about it if you tell me your system requirements or what you're building.

Adjust the fan settings through the BIOS menu to configure your fans. Once configured, the BIOS will manage fan speeds automatically.
