Issue with Fallout Vegas Mountain's flickering problem.
I recently attempted to disable all the mods, but they remained active:/
I was looking for it right now since I expected you to inquire. The Nexus site is really slow, it’s taking forever to load. When I finally get it, just tell me and when I find it, send the message (click my avatar then click message me).
I encounter the same issue consistently during play. It appears to be a LOD/Draw Distance filter used by Bethesda to reduce throttling—similar to how rendering shifts from 30fps to full 60fps when viewing from above. If the game rendered highly detailed distant objects like mountains, it would waste rendering power on unnecessary detail while missing opportunities to focus on more critical elements such as enemies. I suspect this stems from shortcuts taken by Bethesda’s design or art team during development. This situation likely results from insufficient QA testing and debugging before launch, leading to a flawed engine.
Adjusted the Object LOD fade to a lower setting. It worked after changing it to 40000 in the configuration files.
