Hey! You don’t really need special software—just a simple file transfer should work. Plex can help organize your movies, but you can move them directly from your DVDs to your NAS using standard methods like copying files or using a media manager. Just ensure your NAS supports the format you’re using.

Use MakeMKV to extract the DVDs, then apply Handbrake for conversion to your preferred format. Organized under OSes and Software. Updated on September 8, 2015 by Godlygamer23
